Thai yoga massage is an ancient eastern tradition, which has its roots in India and is said to have reached Thailand in the 3rd century BC. Pressure is applied through the therapist’s hands, feet and elbows to rhythmically manipulate the 10 Sen lines. This is combined with gentle rocking, twisting, acupressure and assisted hatha yoga asanas. The overall result is to lengthen and relax the limbs and spine, increase joint mobility, release tension, and ensure optimum health and wellbeing.

What to expect?

 

The session begins with a consultation to discuss your medical history and reason for treatment. The massage will be received on a floor mat with the individual fully clothed. The sessions lasts 75minutes.
